Valved Peel-Away Introducer Sheath
Introductor de revestimiento desmontable con válvulas
For procedures where blood loss and air embolism risk are a concern, VascuTech Medical’s Valved Peel-Away Introducer Sheath & Dilator adds a hemostasis valve to the trusted peel-away platform. The valve maintains a controlled seal around the device during insertion and exchange, while the sheath still peels cleanly away once the procedure is complete — no compromise between hemostasis and ease of removal.
Offered in 4F through 9F with a 10cm sheath and 12.5cm dilator, this configuration is built for consistency and control in higher-acuity cases. Like all VascuTech Medical products, it’s made in the USA with custom sizing available on request.

When to Use a Valved Peelaway Sheath
A valved peelaway sheath is designed for procedures where controlling blood loss and the risk of air embolism matters. The integrated hemostasis valve maintains a seal around guidewires and devices during insertion and exchange, and the sheath still splits cleanly for removal once placement is complete.
VascuTech Medical offers the valved peelaway sheath in 4F through 9F, each with a 10cm MDPE sheath and a 12.5cm dilator. If a valve is not required, our standard peelaway introducer sheath covers sizes from 3.5F to 16F. See the product catalog for catalog numbers.
All sheaths are made in the USA under a quality system designed around the ISO 13485 standard. Custom sizes and bulk non-sterile options are available.
For OEM and private-label programs, the valved sheath can be supplied with custom lengths, packaging and labeling. Our team can provide samples, drawings and documentation to support your evaluation. Request information to discuss sizes, quantities and lead times.
